Dreams on Reel provides an all-inclusive film production service with a team of seasoned professionals dedicated to bringing your unique story to life. From concept development to final edit, we handle every aspect of the production process with precision and care.
Our bespoke service allows you and your loved ones to become the stars of a short film, greeting, announcement, or invitation with every detail handled by our team of experts. From writing and directing to camera work, sound, editing, lighting, props, wardrobe, makeup, and even original music composition, we’ve got you covered.

Our Process
CONSULTATION
The first step is a creative consultation with our client. During this meeting, we'll discuss ideas for the story, who will be involved on and off screen, and which location would best suit the project. Some topics we may cover in this meeting include special effects, location versus soundstage, the shooting schedule, and the final deliverables for the project. After this initial meeting, our creative team will create a treatment detailing the story and the working method of how we will bring it to life. Together with the client, we'll refine the plan to include all of the wishes, hopes, and dreams our customer has for the film. We will then create a budget for client approval. Once our client approves the budget, we will take a down payment and begin the pre-production process.
PRE-PRODUCTION
Script: The first step of pre-production is wr-iting a script. Once a working draft of the script has been approved, storyboards and location options will be created and presented to clients for approval.
Casting: The client is responsible for securing commitments with their chosen cast. If the client is interested in hiring professional actors, we will hold casting sessions and hire actors for an additional fee, which can be budgeted and added to the quote during the pre-production phase.
Our creative team will meet with the client to determine all specific artistic and technical requirements to make your vision a reality. This will include Wardrobe, Set Design, Hair and Makeup Design, Cinematography, Travel and Accommodations.
Once the pre-production stage is complete, a second installment payment is required.
PRODUCTION
Once pre-production is complete, production will commence on the agreed-upon day(s). Shoot days should not exceed 10 hours in duration. The client is responsible for ensuring their party arrives on set in a timely manner to adhere to our scheduled shot list for the day.
POST PRODUCTION
Regarding post-production, the editing process will initiate. Our client is welcome to be involved with this process. After the picture is locked, the footage will be forwarded to our composer and colorist. The third and final payment is due after completion but before delivery. All assets will be transferred digitally upon receipt of the final payment.

Andrea Sachs
Creator, Executive Producer
With over thirty years of experience in the film industry, Andrea is a seasoned professional with a passion for the performing arts that has been with her since childhood. Her mother, a talented folk and bluegrass performer, instilled in her a love of the stage from an early age, which led to her fascination with lighting for film and television.
Andrea found her calling in lighting, her impressive resume boasts a wide range of projects, from blockbuster hits to commercials and music videos. She has worked with some of the most established names in music and film including Leonardo DiCaprio, Gal Gadot, Sam Jackson, Helen Mirren, Kerry Washington,Jane Fonda, Regina King, Christina Aguilera, Whitney Houston, Grace Jones, Pentatonics, Tom Selleck, Peter Gabriel, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones.
Andrea's drive and curiosity led her to explore the world of storytelling, which culminated in her founding Dreams on Reel during the COVID-19 lockdown. With her extensive experience, Andrea and the Dreams on Reel team are experts in bringing the magic of the movies to your life. Nic Alexander
Producer, Director
Nic Alexander is a reality television and documentary producer-director with a decade of experience in the industry. Focused primarily on these genres, Nic has also gained experience in fitness and branded content production, helping bring digital brands to life and available for global consumption.
Throughout his career, Nic has worked with a variety of networks and platforms, including Netflix, Bravo, VH1, and MTV. Nic studied photography and advertising in college, which helped develop his deep passion for visual storytelling and built a foundation of skills that have served him well in the competitive world of television production.
Nic's love of the industry was born from his upbringing on film sets and around Emmy-winning industry professionals. This early exposure to the craft inspired Nic to pursue a career in television production, and he has since become a member of the Television Academy himself, a testament to his dedication and passion for the industry.
As a producer, Nic brings a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and business acumen to every project. He has a keen eye for detail, a knack for bringing out the best in talent, and an ability to work effectively under pressure. Whether working on a high-profile project for a major network or producing content for a brand, Nic is committed to delivering high-quality work that exceeds expectations.

Marianne Williams
Cinematographer, Director
Marianne is a cinematographer and director based in Los Angeles known for her stunning visuals that evoke emotion while staying true to the story being told. She is a dual citizen of the US and Italy, a founding member of the International Collective of Female Cinematographers, an AFI alumni and former cinematography faculty member who also holds a BA with honors from USC in fine art photography.

Howard Howes
Technical Director
Throughout his career, Howard has worked with many names in music, including Sweetback, Howard Jones, George Michael, Marc Almond, The Pet Shop Boys, Fiona Apple, Neneh Cherry, Alison Moyet, Inxs, Leonard Cohen, Nick Beggs of Ellis Beggs and Howard and The Steven Wilson Band, Tony Banks, and Mike Rutherford of Genesis, and David Gilmour and Richard Wright of Pink Floyd.
He has also collaborated with Paul "Wix" Wickens for Paul McCartney from 2002 to the present day.
His recent studio projects include working with Composer Joe Metcalfe for Walt Disney Imagineering's D23 EPCOT 2019 Event. He remains committed to creating innovative and engaging content that resonates with viewers of all ages and backgrounds.

Linda Di Franco

Linda Di Franco is a highly accomplished producer, writer, and editor, known for her exceptional talent and expertise in the film industry. With a career spanning over two decades, Linda has worked on a wide range of projects, from major Hollywood blockbusters to independent short films.
Linda's feature directorial debut, INTERFERENCE, showcased her incredible skill as a filmmaker and earned her critical acclaim. But it is her work as a picture and sound editor that truly sets her apart in the industry. With an impressive list of credits, Linda has worked on some of the biggest films of the last few decades, including STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT, A KNIGHTS TALE, WEDDING CRASHERS, BRUCE ALMIGHTY, and FRED CLAUS.
In addition to her work on feature films, Linda has also produced and written for television, including the award-winning short film THE OBSCURE BROTHER. Her versatility and creativity have made her a sought-after talent in the industry, and her contributions have helped shape some of the most memorable films of our time.

Cory B. Clay
Producer, Director, Cinematographer
As a Creative Producer, Director, Cinematographer and Photographer, I enjoy visualizing and creating fresh new work for documentaries, narrative film, music videos, socially and environmentally conscious brands.
Beginning in 2010 and continuing through 2011 I was the lead Director of Photography for the social media and commercial marketing of the Nissan Leaf, and this included touring the United States to educate consumers, ultimately leading to the success of this EV and influencing the creation of others electric vehicles.
In 2013, I founded a production agency, The Jukebox Romeos. Our slogan was “We See Music”. On YouTube alone, the content my team and I produced exceeds 150,000,000 views.
In 2019 I collaborated with The Russo Brothers, Profile Studios and Marvel Entertainment as a VFX Camera Operator for “Avengers: Endgame” in Los Angeles; this incredible experience provided me with a new opportunity to continue my collaboration with the Russo Brothers on a new Global Spy-Action Story Universe for Amazon Studios.
Beginning in 2020 and continuing through 2022, I served as the Lead Creative Director for a new Tier One Amazon Prime Series, “Citadel”. I worked daily with the lead creator, Josh Applebaum, his team at Midnight Radio, Director Brian Kirk and Cinematographer Tom Sigel to create all of the publicity and marketing for the show; sparing no expense to match the tone and visual sophistication of the series. I had the pleasure of working closely with our main unit talent as well; including Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra, Stanley Tucci, Ashleigh Cummings and Roland Møller.

Peyton Skelton
Director, Cinematographer
Fascinated with photography and film since he was a young child, Peyton eventually found his way into the film business in the studio hub of Wilmington, NC. Finding work in the lighting dept. on such projects as the Coen Brother’s The Hudsucker Proxy, Nancy Savoca’s Household Saints and Matty Rich’s The Inkwell, he was greatly inspired by these three great Independently produced films. With their great scripts, wonderful casts and inventive directors, these films forever branded him with a real passion for the blood, sweat and tears of filmmaking.
Relocating to Los Angeles, he continued to work in Indy film on a number of projects including; It’s my Party, Scream 2, Phantasm IV and Princess Diaries 2. Transitioning to Television projects, he was fortunate enough to work on many interesting projects including: Angel, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, eventually spending 7 years as the Gaffer on Grey’s Anatomy.
Inspired by his time at Grey’s, he decided to take the leap and move up to Cinematographer. Quickly, he found himself busy enjoying working on a number of celebrated shorter form projects, including the Princess Rap Battles web-series that has over 100 million views.
Now adding working as a Director to his work as Cinematographer, he has found it exciting to bring to bear his 20 plus years of filmmaking experience, along with his innate creativity to every project he does.

Joe Metcalf
Composer
“I started getting involved in music when I was about 4 years old,” says Metcalfe. “I asked my brother for help on the piano and he told me I couldn’t play until I was 8. He said if I pushed any keys besides E and F next to middle C, that a big dragon would come out and eat me . . . I decided one day that I wanted to see a dragon. I went up and hit the keys then ran away as fast as I could. I was disappointed to see that there was no dragon, but also excited because I realized that I now had 86 other piano keys to play with.”
There might have been no dragon, but there was a different kind of magic that followed Metcalfe: a deep love for music-making. He became a proper composer by 11 and had written his first musical at 16. Based on George Orwell’s Animal Farm, his musical was a hit in his native United Kingdom, eventually leading to an offer to compose a television theme. His musical journey only became more prolific from there.
“Serendipitously, I found myself working on a show in Budapest, which is where I formed my first orchestra for film scoring,” explains Metcalfe. “When I first recorded with the orchestra in Budapest, I was still in my 20s. I looked around and said, ‘Judging by the average age of each of you, you’ve probably been playing your instruments for about 30 years each. Which means here I am standing in front of 1,500 years of musical experience.’”
Metcalfe is also the founder of Sum Of All Music, an international collaboration of first-class composers and musicians who bring together a unique sonic palette, creating and supporting diverse music.

Steven Moses
Director of Photography
Steven Moses photographs beautiful and innovative live action, food, beauty and tabletop commercials both in the US and internationally. As a plus he has a personal test studio where he keeps his high speed motion control system, a Bolt Jr. Plus with Track, a Phantom VEO 4K Camera, a fine assortment of Macro and Micro lenses, motion control turntables and sliders.
Mr. Moses has also exhibited his still photography through the Los Angeles Artist Association, Gallery 825. It’s been said “Steven has a great eye for beauty, is a delight to work with and has outstanding problem solving skills.”
Besides his cinematic work experience, he is a Tae Kwan Do Master, a competitive sailboat racer, a cyclist and a makes incredible Ruby Port Fig Jam and Tequila Lime Marmalade.

Tom & Debby Harris own and operate Harris Stage Lines, a true working horse ranch based in Paso Robles, CA. From working with cowboy greats, like Cotton Rosser at the Flying U Rodeo Company, to managing major equestrian operations in Carmel Valley and on the island of Kaui, if it has to do with horses Tom and Debby Harris have done it. Their lifetime of experience with multiple breeds & disciplines makes them truly unique.
Harris Stage Lines is “Where the Pavement Ends & the West Begins.” Everything about our venue is authentic, making it the perfect ranch setting for your next event, destination wedding, or film shoot. They have an extensive carriage collection, including a 1906 Horse Drawn hearse, Ben Hur Chariots, Formal carriages, a Western Stagecoach & more.
The Harris’ have provided horses, equipment, and their expertise for a wide variety of films, television shows, commercials & print ads. The resume includes racing their Ben Hur Chariots across the desert, filming Caesars Palace commercials, riding alongside Russian Jigit horsemen filming the documentary “Glasnost on Horseback”, providing horses for Ralph Lauren photo shoots, serving as Boss Wrangler for the Soap Operas, The Young & the Restless & Santa Barbara, to name a few. Most recently, Harris Stage Lines was the location for “Dreams on Reel” production company.
Tom & Debby and their Western Concord Stage Coach have traveled from California to New York. They have been featured in events for Ryan Seacrest Productions, Montie Montana’s Wild West shows, the Rose Bowl Parade, “Trains, Planes, & Automobiles A Travel Series of Then and Now” with sir David Jason British Actor & Comedian. They had the privilege of delivering the United States Mail with Post Master General Anthony Frank for Carmel Valley, CA’s centennial.
They have a broad range of experience in the different eras of horse drawn vehicles and everything they provide is authentic.
